France - Chambreteau, La Rochelle, Bordeaux to Biscarrosse

This golden statue on top of the church in St Michel Mont Mercure, was pretty amazing. It is of the Arch Angel, St Michael. There is quite a story about the church's history dating back to the Romans in the 12th century. The current church as it is now was built in the 1800s. It was all in French so I couldn't make out too much!
